'07 Volvo XC90

The improved aspect for the 2007 Volvo XC90 is that a 6 cylinder 3.2 liter engine was introduced to replace the 2.5 T of 2006.

Features that have been improved are the interior to use more metal, leather and wood trim giving it a more premium quality and there were minor adjustments to the rear tail lights and front and rear bumpers.

There are 3 models with the debuting 3.2 liter being the base line. Then you have the V8 which remains unchanged from 2006 and finally the sport model which gets an updated interior styling, new sport suspension, and distinctive trim.

Adding to the safety features the 2007 Volvo XC90 comes with bi Xenon headlamps linked to the steering and a Blind Spot Information System to inform you of any unseen objects.

The door mirrors and grille also have minor changes while this SUV still offers climate control and audio for the optional 3 row seating arrangement.

'06 Volvo XC90

The 2006 Volvo XC90 offers the same great features as in 2005 with advanced roll over safety mechanism, lowered cross bar and reinforced steel roof. There is an option of a lift gate or drop down tail gate and seats 7 people.

It is not meant for use off road, and offers a high quality on road capability including enhanced corner handling with an improved chassis and leveling suspension as well as beverage holders and the option of a third row of seating with climate control and audio control.

The other options in this class include SUV’s with navigation control and an obstacle detection system for the rear. This car is great for families with smaller children as there is a child booster seat built in to the second row with the option to also have the seats split.

The 2006 Volvo XC90 ranked as one of the top in its class and the best features found were the interior quality and the build quality.

'05 Volvo XC90

This seven seater 2005 Volvo XC90 is all about comfort, reliability and child friendliness as well as luxury and prestige. It can handle very well on highways and streets and has more storage space than most other SUV’s in this class.

This year introduces the V8 engine to the model and it still offers the 5 cylinder models and 6 cylinder models. There are some advanced safety features that include a lower front cross that will protect passengers in other cars in the event of a collision, a roll over detection sensor that will correct any pending imbalance and an extra strong steel roof structure.

The 2005 Volvo XC90 is also a very fuel efficient vehicle in its class. For comfort and style there is leather fabric throughout, 12 cup holders, 3 power outlets and a CD changer as well as power doors, windows and locks. For the driver there is an 8 way memory power seat.
